After watching wrestling something stirred inside him and he knew that he wanted to use this medium to inflict all the pain, suffering and hurt he was feeling on others.... He joined the now defunct RCW in his hometown of Rochdale and had a huge series against Spam but eventually the promotion was closed. He went on a brief tour of Japan and learned several new moves and met several new idols, changing his style in tribute to them... But the Japanese tour couldn't last and Gringo needed new outlet for his violence... He came to TWOStars in January 2005 after its rebirth and soon tore through the TWOStars roster and went onto to Wrestlemania where he took out the beloved A.C. to take the TWOStars World Title... The next night on Xtreme TV he joined the Future and soon started a reign of terror alongside Darkstar, Holt and Trash... After seeing off the ERE invasion as part of the Future as well as the sadastic Draven Cage the Gringo lost his title after the Future turned on him during the Elimnation Chamber match up at SummerSlam 2005. Gringo then went on a mission on revenge against first the Future and then any former ERE men he could get his hands on forming the NewGringoArmy along with Black Dragon to aid this. All this came to end when Dragon turned on Gringo during the Wargames match and sided with The New Blood leaving Gringo to go it alone once more... First on the order was revenge against Dragon which he acheived over the course of the Summer of 06 ending with a brutal thumbtacks match at No Remorse, Gringo sending his betrayer out of the promotion with a Shock Threapy off the top onto a pile of tacks... Soon he was once more in line for a shot at the TWOStars title held by rivial Barry Gower... The two took each other to the limit at Mid-Summer Night of Destruction and soon Deadman, Twiggie and Drake Rush where pulled into the mix as the first ever King of the Mountain match featured all five men... Gringo was just short of re-claiming the gold but Gower was just an inch ahead of him and became the first ever (and so far only) King of the Mountain... Later on Gower was screwed out of the title by Drake and the New Blood which now included previous nemesis Holt and his partner Triple V. The TWOStars team of Twiggie, Gringo, JDZ and V:LO took on a New Blood squad including these two and the world champion but due to interferance from Gower, who had been left off the squad, the Blood took out the home team and shockingly elimanted Gringo, the captain, first... This led to a downward spiral for the Sensation, dragged into a messy, brutal and angry fued with Dan Jackson and later his new ally Arron Winter... But still even with the help of Twiggie as his partner Gringo would win only one match in three months as we came onto the road to WrestleNova and the Battle Royale... And here it was that the next stage of Gringo's career began... Finding himself in the final six for the second year in a row Gringo decided that instead of going on and trying to win a shot at Gower's world title instead he would do the unthinkable... Destroy his tag partner Twiggie, turning his back on the fans who'd brought him to the top of the profession and going heel for the first time since Summerslam 2005... The two collided a Darkstars request at Hell to Pay 2007 with Twiggie picking up the win with a counter out of nowhere that found Gring pinned to the mat... Feeling even more agreaved by the loss Gringo went on a rampage and his attacks and the counter attacks from Twiggie led to the hiring of several bodyguards to try and keep them apart... to no use as Gringo still ended up losing a tooth and taking a chair right in the grill backstage thanks to the two shrugging off their escorts in a violent manner. It all came to a head at WrestleNova III where the two met in a brutal and hard hitting Last Man Standing match where only after the interference of Mamacita and the use of bardbedwire, light tubes and stell chairs in a stack of doom did Twiggie stay down and Gringo emerge victorous... Now aligned with Bobby Banks and the Man Mountain Apollo Chambers Gringo has set his sights on taking on the tag team and World championships golds once more... And in that pursuit the Gringo swerved the fans once more by joining Apollo and DC's newly formed team when all thought he would attack his former nemesis... Together the three along with Angel, Becki and Banks formed F.E.R.E. and began a reign of terror that just got stronger as they brought in Gringo's old 'hombre' Maquina De Lucha' to combat all who oppose them.... The Gringo won the right to face Boyo by defeating the WHC in a First Blood match... only to be told that the title match (Boyo v Gringo VI) would take to take place in a Barbed Wire Steel Cage match! The two men would take each other to hell and back with Boyo even climbing through the Barbed Wire to try and claim the win... which he would have done had it not been for Lucha stopping him and allowing Gringo to slide through the door and claim the World Title again after a near Two year wait...
Soon after he was thrust back into a fued once more with his nemesis Twiggie as the Dreaded Superstar fought for the right to face Gringo for his World Title... The Hippie was succesful in defeating Gringo at Endgame in a special 'Champion v Champion' match and then as a result earned the right to go on to the Elimanation Chamber match at MSNoD. Here Gringo entered sixth as all other five men in the match up where still present... but not for long. Gringo came through all FIVE men in the chamber, a first in the history of the business and retained his World Title... However that joy was short lived as he was forced into more defenses against Arron Winter and Jason LaRoque soon after which his success's in lead to him breaking the defense record for the World Title. All this lead to Genocide and the match to end the war with Twiggie, the final bout between the two over Gringo's title... In the end it was Twiggie who came out on top and Gringo had his prized title ripped from his grasp... Drafted soon after into the 'DS' World Title division under old foe Darkstar he soon cut through the field and became the first three time hold of the World Title belt.... However business is business and TWOStars soon needed to bring it's roster back together and the new 3-Crown was to be established as Gringo took on old foe Twiggie and even older foe but now supposed friend Gower with the World, Pure and Hardcore titles on the line.... With the match seemingly won as Gringo had Twiggie out of it in the GringoLock Gower then made his choice and broke it uo, dropping Gringo on his head with the Hammer... however Twiggie recovered to take out Gower and slap the SDB on Gringo for the easy win... The next night Gower and Gringo faced off with the friendship they shared seemingly over... and indeed it was as both men ripped into each as special ref Twig looked on. Late on Gower stopped the Gringo's fight back, using Twiggie as a human shield. AC/DC then entered in the confusion and laid out the new three crown champ before being urged to lay out the fallen Gower by the Sensation... they instead laid out the former champion who has not been back in a TWOStars ring since, instead he has been sending little messages from Japan, his place of spiritual healing and hinting that his return will be coming soon and he won't be alone... The future for him is always uncertain... but one thing is certain... Mr. Elimanation is ready! |
